Soundclash, TEDx Asheville, The MAP Board

In This Newsletter:

Hi MAPsters!

Just thought you'd like to know that we have had over 100 people sign up for profiles on the new site in just the last few weeks. A little more than half of you have "published" your sites. If you haven't published yet, you'll want to get right on that.

We are cranking up on our marketing plan so we can attract businesses to the site to HIRE YOU!!! A few things that are already in the works: a feature in Verve Magazine next month, coverage in the Asheville CItizen Times and direct marketing to the Asheville Chamber of Commerce members.

We expect the traffic to pick up as a result, so get in there and post your best work and let people know what you're working on. The more active you are, the more exposure you will get.

As always, If you have any questions you can email me -- Gillian

From bone-crushing broken beats to lush soundscapes, western North Carolina’s electronic music scene is recognized world-wide for its quality and diversity. Come see what all the fuss is about. You owe it to yourself. The event’s lineup also includes video edited and arranged by locally-based, award-winning video artists. This will be an all ages show.

Performers include: Doom Ribbons, J.R.R. Foolkiller, IO, Auracene, Pomme de Terre, Kimathir and Sys.Hex, with video by Megan McKissack and Scott Furr.
