Asheville Twestival Thursday February 12th

One in six of us… One billion people lacking access to clean drinking water — That’s a staggering amount. So
how important is clean water? Consider this: Unsafe water and lack of
basic sanitation cause 80% of all sickness and disease, and kill more
people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Children
are especially vulnerable to the consequences of unsafe water. Of the
42,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and a lack of
basic sanitation, 90% are children under 5 years old.
This is not a trivial matter; it is a global crisis.
Please join us for the Asheville Twestival at Windows in the park
and be a part of this global effort to raise money and awareness for
charity: water.
