{Re}HAPPENING 2013: CALL FOR ARTISTS

DEADLINE FOR ALL ARTIST APPLICATIONS: DECEMBER 15, 2012

For last spring's {Re}HAPPENING, we had a massive surge in artist participation, so we are now asking artists to apply if they want to participate in the 2013 event.   It is an easy process, and we are changing things up a little this year. There are two ways to participate:
 

1. HIGHLIGHTED ARTIST: These artists have the chance to develop and plan a piece of their choosing for the night of the event.  Selected artists receive a free Indiegogo workshop to help fund their projects!  

The Media Arts Project will distribute a cash award directly to selected online fundraising campaigns.  A leader in your artistic medium will be also available to help facilitate the project on site, give feedback and answer questions along the way.  Artists are notified of acceptance by January 15, 2013.

2. CHANCE OPERATIONS: This follows a more spontaneous creative path.  Artistsʼ names will be randomly selected to create teams.  Then, each team is matched with various elements to produce a brand new collaborative presentation/performance that premieres on the evening of {Re}HAPPENING 2013.
