The MAP is presenting the Daniel DeLaVergne Spirit Award at this year's Asheville Film Festival.This annual award was created to honor expedition filmmaker, Daniel DeLaVergne. The award is to recognize and honor filmmakers whose work explores pushing the limits of our minds and hearts by artistically expressing true Spirit. These films unlock the vast potential of the human spirit or nature and enable us to view films that display courage, integrity and hope, taking entertainment to a unique level.
